Storytelling Soiree


PAS member Katie Green invites all interested PAS members to an evening of storytelling at her home, 73 Bullard Road, Princeton, on Friday July 27 at 7 PM
Laura Packer, a national-award-winning storyteller, will perform the stories that she’ll be recording on her newest CD. Laura is a storyteller, writer, and a "real-time dreamer".  Her stories for adults and teens are fanciful, unique and wonderfully lyrical. The performance will begin at 7:30 PM.

As part of their 100th Anniversary, the Petersham Art Center (Petersham Craft Center), is presenting a one-person exhibition by Barry Van Dusen of Princeton Massachusetts.  The exhibit will focus on subjects from North Central Massachusetts, including landscapes, birds, flowers and plants, butterflies and dragonflies.  More than thirty original watercolors and oil paintings will be on display.   

The Petersham Art Center (8 North Street, Petersham, Massachusetts) is open Thursday-Sunday, 12 - 4 pm.  For more information contact the Center at 978-724-3415.

Artists are invited to participate in this year’s HEY DAY event co-sponsored by the Mass Audubon at Wachusett Meadow  Wildlife Sanctuary, the Princeton Arts Society, and the Princeton Agricultural Commission. This year’s event promises to be even more successful than 2011 with more of everything including food, music, family activities, and most importantly lots of attendees!  Depending on weather, attendance normally ranges between 500 and 1,000 people. PAS has reserved most of the large barn with wonderful space for exhibiting & selling art work.
